Pete Hoag started P. C. Hoag & Co. Inc. after graduating college in 1976. He then had the unique opportunity to study under the “world renowned” tree biologist, Dr. Alex Shigo. Dr. Shigo was, at the time, working on tree decay research entitled ‘Compartmentalization of Decay in Trees’ which, to this day, is an integral part of understanding the tree’s defense system.
With over 40 years of experience, P.C. Hoag Tree & Landscape is trusted throughout the Lakes Region, the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and parts of Western Maine. Our team specializes in the preservation and safety of large, mature trees in residential, commercial, and municipal settings. Backed by the latest scientific research and a deep respect for nature, we deliver thoughtful, sustainable tree and landscape care you can count on.
